Conversation Questions: Drugs and Medicine

Do most people in your country prefer traditional medicine, modern medicine, or a combination of the two?	Do you think there are any legal drugs that should be illegal? What about illegal ones that should be legal?
Do you think that teas and natural herbs can be just as effective or more effective for treating certain illness than modern medicine?	What type of treatment would you recommend to a person who has the flu?
Do you have to pay for medicine in your country? What about other types of heath care?	Do you feel uncomfortable using medicine from a foreign country?
Should doctors be allowed to prescribe a lethal dose of medicine to patients who want to end their lives?	Do you consider alcohol a drug? Do you drink?
Should doctors be allowed to prescribe marijuana? If so, to whom and for what reasons?	Do you think men are more likely to use illegal drugs than women? Why or why not? What about legal ones?
